Law and Society is one of the most popular undergraduate
majors at Frostburg. The program is designed for students who are interested
in the study of law and legal institutions from an interdisciplinary
perspective. Students have the opportunity to take courses in a range
of academic disciplines, including political science, sociology, philosophy,
business, psychology, and mass communication.
Our majors also choose one of two concentrations: legal
studies or criminal justice. Thus, Law and Society majors have the flexibility
to tailor their course of study according to their own individual interests
and career aspirations.
