A native of Cumberland, Maryland, Mr. Price served during World War II. Following the war, he returned to Cumberland and worked for the local newspaper in the composing room. This left his days free to pursue his true avocation railroad photography. His photographs
and 8mm movie film document nearly every mile of Mr. Price donated his extensive collection of black and white photos and negatives (with copyright privileges) to Frostburg State University in 1999. |
