Department Liasons

The library liaison is a member of the library’s professional staff assigned to an academic department as the primary contact person for faculty on issues related to library collections and services in that subject area.

General Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for assigned academic departments.
• Perform role of subject specialist for the library in assigned fields.
• Communicate regularly with department representatives about library services, collection development, and instructional needs.
• Work collaboratively to resolve concerns or issues identified by assigned academic departments.
