The Lewis J. Ort Library supports the mission of Frostburg State University by developing, selecting and organizing print and electronic resources appropriate to the academic programs.

The Library recognizes and addresses the varied information needs of its students, faculty, staff, alumni and community users.

The Library further promotes information literacy for its clientele by utilizing the latest technological resources and by providing an instructional program that teaches how to access, evaluate and utilize information for research purposes.
