Research Port - Developed by the libraries within the University System of Maryland (USM), this information portal gives Frostburg students, faculty, and staff access to 60 online article databases for conducting research.

Research Port coverage includes more than 22,000 full-text, scholarly journals, magazines, and newspapers in a wide variety of academic disciplines.

Research Port Access off campus

From any computer at FSU, click on any Research Port link or point your browser to http://researchport.umd.edu. You will automatically be logged into the system.
From off-campus, click on any Research Port link or point your browser to http://researchport.umd.edu. You will be prompted to log in with the 14-digit barcode number from your FSU ID card and your last name. Choose “ Frostburg State University” as your campus and then click on the “Login” button.
