Special Collections

The Special Collections department is an archive consisting of a wide variety of materials, including high-value, old, or other nonstandard materials. This includes:

• University archives
• The Rare Book Room
• Artwork
• Local historical records pertaining to Allegany and nearby counties, including:
  • Photographs
  • Maps
  • Newspapers
  • Vertical files

Students are welcome in Special Collections; however, access is by appointment only.
