Frostburg State University
36th Annual Mathematics Symposium
April 20, 2007

The 36th Annual Mathematics Symposium will run from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Frostburg State University on Friday, April 20, 2007.

Our featured speaker will be Steven J. Leinwand. Steve Leinwand is currently a Principal Research Scientist at the American Institutes for Research in Washington, D.C. where he is working on K-10 state assessments for Ohio and Hawaii, alternative assessment for South Carolina, a comparison of U.S. and Singapore math programs, the Chicago High School Transformation Project, World Class Standards for the GE Foundation, and the evaluation of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation small high school initiative.
