About FSU-TV3

FSU-TV 3 at Frostburg State University is on the basic cable tier of the Frostburg cable company which reaches nearly 5,000 homes in the Frostburg area. It is programmed and operated by Mass Communication students during the Fall, Intersession and Spring semesters. At other times, FSU-TV 3 carries a message board and the audio from WFWM, the Frostburg State University radio station.

Eighty percent of FSU-TV 3's programming is produced by the students in the Mass Communication Department through its video production classes and directed study projects. Student-produced shows include a news program; documentaries; "Live at the Loft!," FSU Music Department and FSU Gospel Choir concerts; guest speakers; multi-camera events such as panel discussions; FSU football, volleyball, soccer, basketball games; Student Government Association Meetings; and Frostburg City Council Meetings. The other twenty percent comes from sources such as Annenberg Media and NASA.
