Original Programming Produced the students in the Department of Mass Communication:
- Students enrolled in Spring 2008 MCOM 101, TV Practicum class, produced a series Insights a 15-minute show focusing on some of today's most important issues. Guests for the show include:
Arun Gandhi, grandson of the late spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi of India; Brian McAllister and Mike Marriner two of three founders of Roadtrip Nation.
- Students enrolled in MCOM 499, TV News Production class, are producing FSU This Week a 15-minute magazine news show. Stay tuned, FSU This Week will return in the Fall semester.
- Multi-Camera
Events are produced by directed study students and the students enrolled in the MCOM
488, Multi-Camera Field Production class. These events include: FSU Athletics such as: FSU Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer;
also and FSU Gospel Choir concerts, panel discussions, Student Government Association Meetings and the local Frostburg
City Council Meetings.

Students
enrolled in the MCOM 311, Single Camera class and 487 Advance Video Production classes, help FSU-TV3 cover performances
by visiting musical artists at the Live at the Loft! shows, guest
lecturers who visit the campus and FSU Music Department concerts.

Students
in the different advanced video production classes have produced
shows on Apple Power Mac G5s utilizing Final Cut Pro Studio. Shows
include: Scales N Tales, a nature program presented by the
aviary staff from Rocky Gap State Park and several documentaries: Heart: FSU Women's 2004 Soccer Team, C&O Canal, The Great National Project and The Ghosts of Frostburg.
