About Yanling Fan:
Ms. Yanling Fan grew up in Beijing, China, and came to US in 1991 and moved to Frostburg in 2000, with her husband Dr. Hongqi Li (who teaches at the Department of Biology). She speaks the standard Chinese and has been teaching the Mandarin Chinese since the fall of 2005 at FSU (as reported by Cumberland Times-News, on 12/15/2005). Students in her Basic Chinese have enjoyed her teaching very much and most of them will take her Basic Chinese II this semester. Yanling welcomes more students to take her Chinese courses, and hopes the Chinese course will lead you to a wonderful world.
