Work interests (teaching, research and editing):
Teaching Interests: Latin American literature, poetry and film; Spanish for the professions.
Research Interests: Latin American contemporary literary theory; Latin American cultural studies, Latin American film, gender studies.
Focus: Colombia, Mexico, Brazil. 19th and 20th century.
She is currently working on her Dissertation titled “Youth and Identities Crisis. Narratives of violence in Bogotá and Medellín, Colombia, in the 1980s and 1990s”
