A Message from the Chair
 

Welcome to the Department of Marketing and Finance at Frostburg State University! We are home to the Finance, Global Business, and Marketing concentrations in the Business Administration major and our shared Masters degree in Business Administration.

Our department faculty strive to deliver interesting and effective courses which lay a firm foundation for students’ career path preparation.  Our department houses three Business Administration concentrations:

• Finance,
• Global Business, and
• Marketing.

We are also home to three student organizations:

• The Finance Club, where you can take part in a stock market challenge,
• The Global Business Club, where you can learn to play Mahjong, and
• The Marketing Club, where you can attend an advertising conference and interact with marketing professionals.

Students find our programs challenging and memorable. Some of the many attributes of the College of Business at Frostburg are: small classes which facilitate greater interaction between faculty and students, faculty who serve as academic advisors, faculty who serve as club advisors, and faculty who know and care about their students!
