A Message from the Chair

Welcome to the Department of Marketing and Finance at Frostburg State University! We are home to both the Finance and Marketing concentrations in our Business Administration major and our Masters degree in Business Administration.

Our department faculty strive to deliver interesting and effective courses which lay a firm foundation for students’ career path preparation. Our department houses two Business Administration concentrations: Finance and Marketing. We are also home to two student organizations: The Finance Club, where you can take part in a stock market challenge, and The Marketing Club, where you can take part in survey research for an actual business.

Students find our programs challenging and memorable. Some of the many attributes of the College of Business at Frostburg are: small classes which facilitate greater interaction between faculty and students, faculty who serve as academic advisors, faculty who serve as club advisors, and faculty who know and care about their students!
