The Jazz Studies Minor is open to ALL STUDENTS! Music majors looking for a broader musical experience or students wanting to explore jazz instruction, performance, history, etc. may also pursue the minor.

Course of study includes (22 credits):

  • A variety of ensembles including: Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Concert Jazz Ensemble, and Jazz Combos
  • Private Applied Instruction
  • Music Theory and Jazz Theory and Analysis
  • Jazz History
