In addition to the general financial aid and scholarships available at Frostburg State University, the Political Science department currently offers three scholarship opportunities to Political Science and Justice Studies majors.
Each year the department offers the C. Walter Howe Memorial Scholarship to a declared Political Science major. The student must be a junior at the time of application, with an overall and department G.P.A. of 2.5 or above. This scholarship was created to honor a long-time faculty member and encourages involvement in co-curricular activities and an interest in contemporary political issues.
