Conrad Maust - Biography

Technical Director/Facilities Manager

Conrad Maust works as the Technical Director and Facilities Manager for the Performing Arts Center at Frostburg State University. His responsibilities include designing, teaching technical theater courses, and facilitating the technical needs for the PAC’s performing spaces and classrooms. He also coordinates the building scheduling and booking.

Conrad also designs for University Theatre; past credits include Urinetown, Stirring the Mud, The Lesson, Bald Soprano, The Laramie Project, Breath Boom, and All My Sons, and Metamorphosis (co-design).

Previous experience includes working for Walnut Street Theater, where he served as Prop Shop Manager, Technical Director, and Set Designer. In addition, he has also worked with West Virginia University, Penn State University, American Players Theater, Utah Shakespearean Festival, The Arden, Plays and Players, Pittsburg CLO, Maine State Music Theater, Drury House Theater, Coconut Grove Theater, and several others.
Conrad is a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (IATSE Local 8) and USITT, The United States Institute for Theatre Technology.
