Within the
Department of Theatre and Dance, the
Design and Technology Track trains students for the professional theatre industry.
We offer specific concentrations in Scenic, Costume and Lighting Design for the theatre. Course work ranges from Sound Design and Computer Assisted Drafting to Stage Management. Learn welding, rigging and advanced carpentry building sets in our scene shop! Learn how to design stage lighting on modern control consoles! Study costume design and construction in our spacious costume shop. Design and Technology students experience small class sizes and enjoy numerous opportunities to work on productions.
