Biography
Nicole Frost is an avid performer, choreographer, educator and mentor. She began dancing at a young age under the direction of Ms. Shirley Sigler. Nicole holds a Master of Arts in Performing Arts with a focus in Dance Education from The American University in Washington, D.C. She also obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Dance & Theatre from Frostburg State University. Nicole has performed in Paris, France and has not only performed but showcased choreography in numerous states throughout the U.S. She studied dance at two summer intensive workshops with the Martha Graham School as well as studying with numerous well know dance pioneers; such as Pearl Lang, Ethel Winter, Mary Anthony and Naima Prevots. Nicole taught at Family Dance Studio, Frostburg State University, American University, McDaniel College, YMCA of Westminster, and State of the Arts Dance Center, Carroll County Dance Center & Ballet Conservatory as well as numerous festivals and workshops. She is the choreographer for the Front & Centre Stage annual Children’s Show and is assisting with the Cultural Event Series outreach program by educating others about dance. Nicole continues to share her passion for dance through educating and creating choreography.
