Welcome to the Department of Theatre & Dance at Frostburg State University.

The Department considers stage experience an invaluable feature of the training process for all majors. Students experience a diverse repertoire of theatrical production and study in a modern performance facility, which houses industry standard scene, lighting and costume shops, computer design labs, black box and proscenium theatres and spacious studio classrooms.

The Department actively participates in the American College Theatre Festival and the South Eastern Theatre Conference and our faculty and staff are working professionals with many national affiliations. We believe in directing students toward lucrative and fulfilling jobs and careers.
