Amy has been dancing for over 30 years, teaching for 21 years, and has been a studio owner for 15 years of Frostburg Dance Academy and is Executive Director of the Miss Frostburg Dance scholarship pagent.

Griffith has participated in workshops with DanceMakers, Martha Graham Intensive, Al Gilbert, Nai-Ni Chen, Body Mind Centering, Philadanco, LA Dance Force, ACDF, Dena Rizzo, Tommy Alexander, Dance Masters, Showstoppers, and Broadway Dance Center as well as performing in PA, MD, NE, WV, VA, FLA, HI, OH, NC, and Wash. DC. She was Maryland Distinguished Scholar Finalist in dance and was named Distinguished Women of the Year in 2000, and has been recognized by Dance Teacher and Dance Studio Life Magazine for her studio's dedication to volunteerism. Amy is a member of both Professional Dance Teachers Association (PDTA) and Dance Masters of America (DMA), and continues to study the art form of dance to better herself and her studio.
