Susan Manger studied on full scholarship at the Washington School of the Ballet with master teachers including Mary Day, Lupe Serrano, Patricia Berrend and Rex Bickmore. With the Washington Ballet Young Dancers (apprentice company to the Washington Ballet), she appeared at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the White House, the Warner Theatre, Lisner Auditorium, and the Smithsonian Institution in masterpieces such as “Swan Lake, act II,” “Les Sylphides,” and “Paquita,” and with the Washington Ballet in “The Nutcracker” and in George Balanchine's “The Four Temperaments.”
She has studied on full scholarship at seasonal programs in New York City at the Isadora Duncan Center of Contemporary Dance and at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance.
Susan is also a certified instructor of STOTT PILATES® matwork and earned her certification in 2005 in New York City.
