Production picturesThe Department of Theatre and Dance Program Structure

The Department of Theatre and Dance offers a rigourous major with three distinct concentrations.

  • Actors, singers and dancers within the Acting Track focus on specific performance training.
  • The Design and Technology Track is for aspiring lighting, costume, set and sound designers, stage managers, backstage and event technicians, and technical directors.
  • Theatrical Studies Track is geared toward students pursuing scholarly careers and graduate studies as well as related and integrated fields.

The Dance Minor may accompany any Theatre or other major you might wish to complete.

MANY students complete two, or all three tracks within their four year collegiate career! It's up to you!
