Leadership & Homecoming Weekend 2011 is behind us … and we had so much to celebrate! It was a weekend filled with renewed friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. A record number of Bobcats came, including many folks returning to their alma mater for the first time in a while. Thank you to everyone who came “home”!

Gifts to the FSU Annual Fund made it possible for the FSU Foundation to award financial support to proposals from faculty, staff and students to reinvest in the campus community. “We’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback … about this process that allows us to put money back into the campus.” said B.J. Davisson II, vice president for University Advancement and executive director of the FSU Foundation. “People have told us this is a unique funding opportunity that not many schools offer nationally.”

Bobcat Football unveiled a state-of-the-art locker room for our student-athletes at the start of the 2011 season. A ribbon-cutting for this fantastic new facility was held during Leadership and Homecoming Weekend. Check out the video here. It is still possible to honor current and past players in this facility. With a gift of $300 to the FSUF Football Locker Fund, the donor’s name or the name of a designated player will be permanently displayed on a locker, a great way to be linked to the legacy of Bobcat Football!
