Frostburg State University’s enrollment news continues to be great. The University has reached its highest enrollment ever, more students are returning to FSU year after year, and the fall 2010 freshman class brings with it a higher mean grade point average and SAT score.

Following the principle of “find a need and fill it,” Eskat Asfaw ’09 saw a need for transportation services while he was a student at FSU, so he and three other students created College Shuttle, a successful service that has become an efficient and economical way for college students to travel home throughout the semester.

The voices on the other end of the line in Frostburg State University’s yearly Annual Fund Phonathon are hard-working eager students, but some are really willing to “take the plunge” to bring in much-needed funds for the University.

Despite the loss of seven seniors and its first season in a new conference, the Frostburg State volleyball team has had a record-setting start to the 2010 season and is competing for its fourth-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament. This year’s success comes despite a few questions that surrounded the team heading into the season.
