American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificaion Class

Class size is limited.

Class will be held in Cordts PE Center Room 110-1 and the Cordts PE Center swimming pool.

April 25	5-9pm Classroom 110-1
April 26	5-9pm FSU Pool
April 27	8am - 6pm Classroom 110-1
April 28	8am - 6pm FSU Pool
April 30	5-9pm FSU Pool
May 2	5-9pm FSU Pool
May 3	5pm - 9pm Final Testing FSU Pool

Participants MUST have strong swimming skills.

Class Prerequisites:

300 yd. continuous swim
10 minutes of treading
10 - 25 yd. sprints
20 yd. swim, feet first surface dive, brick retrieval from 12 ft, swim back to side, exit water. - Must be completed within 1 minute, 40 seconds.

It is not the responsibility of the instructor to meet with students who do not pass outside of scheduled class times.

PARTICIPANTS MUST BE PRESENT FOR ALL CLASS TIMES.

A HARD COPY OF THE LIFEGUARD BOOK IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS FEE.
