We hope you enjoy the Saturday Arts Walk, and we invite you to return to Downtown Frostburg on a regular basis for all the wonderful events and activities that take place throughout the year. Sara Evans
Country music singing-sensation Sara Evans will grace the CES stage in a special Family Weekend concert. A multiple Country Music Association award winner, Evans was named Female Vocalist of the Year by the Academy of Country Music in 2006. A native of Boonville, Mo. (who began singing in her family’s band at age 5), Evans has experienced popular and chart-topping success since releasing her debut album over a decade ago. Her signature songs “Born to Fly,” “A Real Fine Place to Start” and “No Place That Far” (a duet with Vince Gill) have all become modern country music classics and have been praised by both fans and music critics. Evans’ “compelling heart-in-thethroat vocals” are continually compared to those of country music legends Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette and Patsy Cline. She continues to branch out professionally and was named one of “People” magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People” and appeared on the third season of the hit ABC TV show “Dancing with the Stars.” Every Sara Evans concert promises an unforgettable night of emotional and “on-your-feet” country music.
