General Information

CHECK IN
Upon arriving at campus for Family Weekend, please be sure to check in at the registration table on the first floor of the Lane University Center. Hours of operation for the registration table will be Friday, October 8, from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m., and Saturday, October 9, from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. At this time, you will receive all of the final information that you will need for your visit, as well as schedule updates, evaluations and the chance to win some great door prizes.

WIN $200!
Could you use $200 to help pay for your student’s textbooks for spring 2010? You could win a $200 gift card from the FSU Bookstore just for completing the Family Weekend evaluation. Your feedback provides valuable information to help us improve the program. Evaluations will be available on the Family Weekend Web site, at the Lane University Center Information Desk and at the Check-In Table during Family Weekend. All evaluations must be received by Monday, October 20, 2009, to be eligible for the drawing.

FSU DINING SERVICES
FSU Dining Services will have several locations open for cash sales.

Friday, October 8
Chesapeake Dining Hall will be open from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. for dinner service.

Saturday, October 9
Chesapeake Dining Hall will be open for lunch, Java City will be open from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. as well. For other options see the Saturday Brunch description under Weekend Highlights. Chesapeake Dining Hall will be open from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. for dinner service.

Sunday, October 10
Chesapeake Dining Hall will be open from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. The Appalachian Station will be open from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.

FSU BOOKSTORE
The Bookstore will be open on Friday, October 2, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday, October 3 , from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.. The FSU Bookstore is located on the first floor of the Lane University Center.
