PART ONE: MILLENNIUM APPROACHES
BY TONY KUSHNER
Set in New York City, 1985, Angels in America: Millennium Approaches tells the story of two couples whose lives come together in reality and fantasy.
Joe, a devout Mormon and conservative lawyer, struggles to accept his homosexuality while caring for his valium-addicted wife, Harper. Simultaneously, Louis, a word processor at Joe’s workplace, abandons his partner, Prior, who is dying of AIDS.
Their story is textured by a cast of real, imaginary, and historic figures reflective of America’s political and social landscape. Set in the context of the Reagan administration and the AIDS crisis, this 1993 Pulitzer Prize-winning drama is a contemporary state of the union, addressed by one of our nation’s most prolific playwrights.

A CIVIL WAR CHRISTMAS:
BY PAULA VOGEL; MUSIC BY DARYL WATERS
It’s Christmas Eve, 1864—a pivotal time in American history — and Washington, D.C., is piercingly cold. Traditional songs, spirituals, poetry, and folk tales stitch three stories together: a fugitive from slavery desperately searches the streets for her lost daughter, the ideologies of rebel and union soldiers are challenged on the banks of the Potomac, and President and Mrs. Lincoln plot and scheme to give one another the perfect Christmas gift.
By the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of How I Learned to Drive, this epic play moves with the urgency of battle, but with an ending focused on community, family, and hope.

BY ITAMAR MOSES
Leipzig. June 1722.
The musical director of St. Thomas Church and master of St. Thomas school has died, and six of the best organists in Germany compete for his vacant post. The title guarantees fame and fortune through all of Europe, and the ambitious men resort to blackmail, betrayal, and other crimes to secure their future. Bach at Leipzig strikes chords with dexterous wordplay and
sophisticated comedic wit. Nothing short of a farcical fugue, this play delivers a collision of ideologies about art, God, and humanity, which resolves in a brilliantly crafted ending.

PETER PAN OR ...
ADAPTED BY MATTHEW EARNEST FROM J.M. BARRIE’S PLAY PETER
PAN, AND HIS NOVEL PETER AND WENDY
The adventure begins when Peter Pan returns to the Darling household in London to capture his escaped shadow. When his mischievous outline causes trouble, the household children awaken, and Peter entices them to fly away to Never Never Land—a magical island where children do not have to grow up.
On arriving, Peter, Wendy, Tinkerbell, and the Lost Boys engage in a battle of wits and bravery with the villainous pirate, Captain Hook. As danger ensues and principles are tested, Peter and the children teeter between the innocent world of their childhood and looming adulthood.
Filled with fairy dust and flight, and staged like never before, this adaptation stays true to J.M. Barrie’s classic tale with the simplistic detail of a child’s imagination.
