In May we received a card from one of our current theatre majors, Christine Barry. Christine, whose focus is design and technical theatre, received a scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year, and wrote, “Thank you for allowing me the chance to continue to learn and follow my dreams! Without scholarships and gracious people, I would be lost.”
Christine is an extremely hard working and bright student, and without students like her, we would be lost. During her sophomore year she served as a light board operator for Bent and Assistant Stage Manager for A Christmas Carol and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She is an honors student whose numerous contributions in the classroom also lead to bright ideas on our stage.
