The FSU Financial Planning Certificate Program consists of six courses:
The FPCP covers the current 89 financial planning topic areas tested on the CFP® Certification Examination ("The Exam"). Who should enroll?
Although there are no course or degree requirements for admission, we recommend at least two years of college coursework since the FPCP courses are taught at the upper-division undergraduate level. The FPCP is an educational program structured to meet the education requirement to ultimately earn the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. The Frostburg FPCP is registered with CFP Board and will provide you with a thorough overview of the topics covered on the CFP® Certification Exam; it is not a review or exam-preparation program.
