Range/distribution Map

Habitat description: The Arctic Fox lives in the tundras of the northern most parts of the world, where temperatures can drop as low as -58  °F.

Behavior: Arctic Wolves fur color changes with the seasons (brown in the summer and white in the winter) to help them camouflage themselves. They prey on small mammals, such as lemmings and hares, but will on occasion hunt seal pups if the pup is separated from the adults.

Current news/event & conservation status: The current status of the Arctic Fox is "least concern", with their only real threat being that of Polar Bears, Wolves, and humans.

Fun Fact

Arctic Foxes have the warmest fur of any mammal on Earth!
