Average Size: 115-165 cm and weighs 35-75 kg

Average Lifespan: 12-15 years

Range/ Distribution Map

Habitat description: Fond in Bhutan, china, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Pakistan in mountain slopes.

Behavior/Diet: Herbivore, grasses, lichens, and mosses. Fairly solitary or in small groups of less than 20. Active through the day.

Conservation Status: low risk, near threatened. Biggest threat being hunting and loss of habitat.

Fun Fact:

The blue tint in their fur makes them almost invisible against the background of a blue grayish rock that is in their habitat.
