Habitat description: Cape Fox reside in savannahs and semi-arid parts of southern Africa.

Behavior:  They are non-territorial and found alone or in pairs.  They are typically nocturnal.  Their main food sources are small mammals, lizards, some fruits, and insects.

They are considered to be least concern when it comes to conservation.

Whenever a Cape Fox is being aggressive, it will spit at its attacker.  Cape Fox will raise their tails whenever excited, and their excitement can be determined by the height of their tail.
