Habitat description: Coyotes live throughout Northern and Central America in a variety of habitats, ranging from plains, forests, and deserts to urban environments.

Behavior: Coyotes live in mating pairs, though they have been observed in very small related packs. They often hunt small mammals, such as rabbits and mice.

Current news/event & conservation status: The current status of the Coyote is "least concern", with their only real threat being that of Bears, Wolves, and humans.

A Coyote can jump over 13 feet into the air!
