Habitat description: Brush covered plains, woodlands, and rocky hillsides of eastern and southern Africa.
Behavior/Diet: Herbivore, eats leaves, grass, flowers, herbs, fruits, and tubers. Slightly sociably making small herds of around 6. Males are in a different herd and only associate with females during mating season.
Conservation Status: Least concern because of a stable population. Biggest threat it hunting and loss of habitat.
