Major: Mass Comm & Psychology

Year: Junior

Hometown: Oakland, Maryland

High School: Southern Garrett High School, Class of 2010

Why FSU?
I have been around this campus my whole life for various class trips, and because my older brother goes here. I fell in love with the campus. I knew that FSU would be a place where I could truly connect with my fellow students, professors, and campus as a whole. The moment anyone steps on this campus, they are overwhelmed with a sense of calm and peace, which I think is one of the best parts of FSU. FSU gave me the opportunity to become much more involved on campus than I would have been able to at any other university. I chose FSU because I chose to be known and successful.

How I stay involved:
I am a Bobcat Ambassador, I am a Student Alumni Ambassador, I write for The Bottom Line, I am on the Student Code of Conduct Panel, I am a General Psychology lab assistant, a General Psychology Supplemental Instructor, and a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.

Life after the Burg:
My game-plan is to graduate in the spring of 2014. I would like to become involved in many Mass Communication fields. I like to challenge myself a lot and like experimenting so I would like to try a few different areas in this field. I would love to write for a big magazine or newspaper, I would like to do public relations at some point, and I would never pass up the opportunity to be a reporter. I plan to move to Washington, D.C. and fulfill my dream of becoming a successful woman in this field.
