The Appalachian Center for Ethnobotanical Studies will present its Annual Research Symposium on Friday, June 24, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Mount Washington Conference Center in Baltimore. This year’s event, “Appalachian Plants and People: Interdependent Networks at Multiple Scales,” co-sponsored by ACES, which is housed at Frostburg State University, and Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future, will provide an opportunity to discuss the role of social, economic, ecological and scientific networks in Appalachia.
