Frostburg State University junior James Kirk was chosen by Campus Compact to be honored as a 2017 Newman Civic Fellow, which acknowledges motivation and potential in public leadership. Kirk, of LaVale, Md., is one of the 273 students who were honored this year among all Campus Compact institutions.
