CENTREVILLE, MA —
Frostburg State junior quarterback Grant Burrough (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright)
took home another weekly honor for his outstanding performance in the Bobcats' 24-17 come-from-behind win over Westminster Saturday.
Burrough, who earned the Atlantic Central Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Sunday, was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Southwest Offensive Player of the Week award Thursday.
Burrough completed 28-of-51 passes for 346 yards and three touchdowns in the victory. He was 23-of-40 for 288 yards and all three scoring strikes in the second half alone as Frostburg State overcame a 14-3 halftime deficit.
Burrough compiled 354 yards of total offense on the day and now has a school-record 2,434 this season.
Burrough has set five single-game and two single-season school records this year, and he needs just one more touchdown pass to tie the FSU all-time mark of 39 held by Jobie Waldt and Jason Henry.
The Bobcats (5-3) return to action on Saturday when they visit Waynesburg beginning at 1:30 pm.
