Frostburg State junior quarterback Grant Burrough (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright)
has been named the Atlantic Central Football Conference Offensive Player of the Week after his record-setting performance in Saturday's 41-35 overtime loss to Catholic.
Burrough completed 35-of-65 passes for 391 yards and five touchdowns, establishing school single-game records in all four categories.
Burrough, who also added 27 rushing yards and set another FSU record with 418 total yards of offense, rallied FSU from 21-0 and 28-7 deficits and forced overtime with a three-yard scoring pass with 4:51 left in regulation.
Wesley junior linebacker Freddie Coach was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week after posting 10 tackles, including six solos and two sacks, in a 35-0 win over ACFC foe Apprentice.
Wesley freshman linebacker Bryan Sorenson earned the ACFC Rookie of the Week honor after recording eight tackles and a pass breakup as the Wolverines held Apprentice to just 134 yards of total offense.
