Carter Named AMCC Women's Soccer Player of the Week

GIBSONIA, PA - Freshman Danielle Carter (Rockville/Rockville, Md.) was the named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference women soccer Player of the Week as she recorded her first career hat trick against Pitt-Bradford in an 8-0 win on October 18th. The victory helped keep the defending conference champion Bobcats (8-4, 3-0) undefeated in AMCC play.

Carter, who is second on the team with 11 goals and 23 points, recorded seven points against Pitt-Bradford as she scored three times and added an assist in the first half.

Over the last three games, Carter has scored six times to lead the Bobcats to a four-game winning streak. On the season, Carter now has three multi-goal games, two game-winning goals and one hat trick.

Carter is fourth in the conference with a 1.00 goals per game average and fifth in scoring at 2.09 points per game.

Carter and the Bobcats will return to action this Wednesday, October 22nd for another conference match-up, hosting Penn State Altoona at 4:00 pm.
