BROCKPORT, N.Y. — Frostburg State University senior tight end Roy Olson (Lexington Park, Md./Great Mills) and junior defensive end Kevin Culbert (Purcellville, Va./Loudoun Valley) were recently named to the 26th Annual 2003 College Sports Information Directors Division III All-America Football Team.

Olson caught 26 passes for a team-high 409 yards (15.7 avg.) and four touchdowns this past season. He led the team in receiving yards for the second consecutive year and grabbed the game-winning touchdown pass in FSU's exciting 15-14 win over Salisbury.

Olson also earned first-team Eastern College Athletic Conference All-Star, first-team All-Atlantic Central Football Conference and second-team Football Gazette NCAA Division III All-South Region honors, and he was one of 42 players named to the United States Division III all-star team that faced the Mexican National Team in the 2003 Aztec Bowl held in Cancun, Mexico in December.

Culbert led the Bobcat defense with 80 tackles, 47 solo tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 10.0 sacks and two forced fumbles. He added three pass breakups, a forced fumble, a blocked kick and a safety.

Culbert earned third-team Football Gazette All-America, first-team All-ECAC, first-team All-ACFC, first-team Football Gazette NCAA Division III All-South Region and ACFC Co-Defensive Player of the Year honors for his outstanding year.

During the course of the season, he was selected the ACFC Defensive Player of the Week twice, the ECAC Division III Southwest Defensive Player of the Week twice and was named to the D3football.com National Team of the Week once.

A total of 123 players from 76 schools were named to the College Sports Information Directors All-America Team. The team was selected by a panel of 30 sports information directors representing the four playoff regions in NCAA Division III. The ballot included 321 players representing 130 of the NCAA Division III football-playing institutions.

The College Sports Information Directors Division III All-America Football Team is the oldest and longest running Division III football All-America program in the country.
