Newport News, VA
— Frostburg State beat Christopher Newport, 4-2, Sunday morning in a continued match from September 27th. Junior Amanda Boswell (Lackey/Marbury, Md.)
tallied the only goal of the day in the 56th minute to give the Bobcats (6-12) all they would need to hold on and defeat the Captains 4-2.

Fellow classmates Heidi Zook (Twin Valley/Elverson, Pa.) and Kim Smith (Thomas Johnson/Frederick, Md.) then put FSU ahead three minutes later when Zook scored off a pass from Smith to make the score 2-1.
Buck then put Frostburg State ahead in the 30th minute when she scored off a pass from Zook to make the score 3-1 at the half.
