In a vote taken by the league’s coaches, Frostburg State is tied with Buffalo State to finish fourth in the Atlantic Central Football Conference this season.
Salisbury is the favorite to defend its league crown, picking up four first-place votes and 24 points. Wesley, last year’s runner-up, was second with 21 points and garnered one first-place vote.
SUNY Brockport was picked to finish third with 18 points, while Frostburg State and Buffalo State followed with 11 points each. Apprentice was chosen sixth and received five points.
FSU will look to rebound from 2-8 overall and 1-4 ACFC marks in 2004. The Bobcats return eight starters on defense as well as five starters on offense.
FSU opens its training camp Friday, August 19 and starts the 2005 season Saturday, September 10 at Apprentice beginning at 1 pm.
