GIBSONIA, PA —
Frostburg State University continues to hold a slight lead in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Presidents' Cup standings after the conclusion of the winter sports season.
The Bobcats have 43 points and are followed closely by two-time defending cup champion Penn State Behrend, which has 40 points.
Penn State Altoona is third (31), Pitt-Greensburg is fourth (28) and La Roche is fifth (25). Pitt-Bradford (17) and Lake Erie (13) round out the standings.
Frostburg State finished second in men's basketball and third in women's basketball this past winter.
The Bobcats won conference titles in men's and women's cross country, women's soccer and women's volleyball last fall.
Penn State Behrend narrowed its gap from the fall by winning the women's basketball crown and finishing third in the men's basketball tournament.
Baseball, softball and men's tennis are the remaining sports that will factor into the Presidents' Cup Standings this year.
