FSU Dept. of Philosophy to Sponsor "Patriotism and Civil Liberties" Lecture
The Department of Philosophy at Frostburg State University will sponsor a lecture and discussion on "Patriotism and Civil Liberties" on Tuesday, March 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cordts Physical Education Center's Leake Room.
This event, which is free and open to the public, is part of the department's bi-annual Philosophical Forum.
Four panelists will contribute their views and insights by drawing on their respective disciplines and expertise. They include: Tom Mappes, Department of Philosophy; Paul Charney, Department of History; MacGregor O'Brien, Department of Foreign Languages and John Bambacus, Department of Political Science.
After each panelist has the opportunity to make a brief presentation, the audience will be invited to interact with the panel.
