Frostburg State University will present an informational meeting for prospective students for the Master of Arts in Teaching and Master of Business Administration programs at 6 p.m. (MAT) and 7 p.m. (MBA) on Tuesday, Nov. 16, in Pullen Hall, room 141 on the FSU campus.
FSU’s full-time, intensive MAT program is NCATE accredited and designed to lead to teaching certification in one year. The MAT Elementary program is for those who have a bachelor’s degree in any field and courses in various content areas; the MAT Secondary program is designed for those who have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent coursework in math, science, art, social studies, English or foreign language and want to teach middle or high school.
FSU’s MBA program is accredited by AACSB International (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and offers a strong foundation in accounting, finance, marketing, human resources and management. MBA courses are offered in the evenings and online for business and non-business majors and full- or part-time students. The entire program is available online as well as face-to-face. GetEducated.com, a consumer watchdog group that reviews and ranks online academic programs for cost, quality and credibility, has ranked Frostburg State University among its best values in AACSB-accredited online master of business administration degrees.
