FSU Lunch in the Loft Presents One World Tribe
09/17/2008

Eclectic musical group One World Tribe will perform as part of Frostburg State University’s Lunch in the Loft Music Series sponsored by the University Programming Council and the Cultural Events Series on Friday, Sept. 26, at 8 p.m., in the Manicur Assembly Hall in the Lane University Center.

One World Tribe was created with the premise of bringing together musicians of various racial and ethnic backgrounds in order to break down social and racial barriers. They provide a myriad of hip hop, reggae, funk, Latin music and world music for the mind, body and soul.

The performance is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Lane University Center Information Desk at (301) 687-4411.

This project is partially supported by a grant from Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour, a program developed and funded by the Heinz Endowments; the William Penn Foundation; the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency; and The Pew Charitable Trusts; and administered by Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation. The Cultural Events Series is supported by a grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive. An agency of the Department of Business & Economic Development, the MSAC provides financial support and technical assistance to non profit organizations, units of government, colleges and universities for arts activities. Funding for the Maryland State Arts Council is also provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.

FSU is committed to making all of its programs, services and activities accessible to persons with disabilities. To request accommodations through the ADA Compliance Office, call 301-687-4102 or use a Voice Relay Operator at 1-800-735-2258. -end-
