FSU Offers Information Session on R.N. to B.S. in Nursing Program
Frostburg State University will offer an information program on its R.N. to B.S. in Nursing at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center on Monday, March 1, in Auditorium Room 6. Kara Platt, FSU nursing recruiter, will be on site from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will present an overview of the program, as well as answer individual questions and review transcripts.
Nurses who would like an unofficial review of their college work for transfer credit should bring an unofficial transcript or list of college course-work with them.
The FSU RN to BSN program prepares nurses to assume roles in leadership, complex clinical care coordination and community/public health. It also serves as the academic foundation for graduate study that is accessible and affordable. Classes will be small enough to guarantee individualized attention from faculty with real-world knowledge and experience that can be used in clinical work available in your own community. Convenient courses will be offered online to maximize scheduling flexibility for working nurses. This session is open to all nurses in the community who are interested in earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
The session will include some fun elements as well, helping nurses determine if their fortune holds a BSN. Refreshments will be served, along with door prizes and giveaways.
For information, contact Kara Platt at 301-687-4791 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
