Colleen Stump, Frostburg State University's director of publications in the Office of University Advancement, has received a Bronze Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).
Stump's cover design for the Foundation Scholars 2001 tabloid was selected in the Visual Design in Print, Subcategory D of the CASE District II Accolades Awards Program. Published every fall by the Frostburg State University Foundation, Inc., the winning publication's cover design included a tribute to the late Lewis J. Ort, described by FSU President Catherine Gira as "a long-time, generous friend and benefactor" of FSU whose name now graces the university's library.
The awards will be presented at a special ceremony during the CASE District II Conference, Feb.9-12, in Toronto, Canada. Other universities with winning entries this year include Syracuse, Carnegie-Mellon, Cornell, La Roche and Fordham.
CASE is the professional organization for advancement professionals at all levels who work in alumni relations, communications, and development. For more information about CASE, check the Conference Web site at www.case.org/district-ii.
