Frostburg State University will present information meetings for prospective applicants for its Master of Arts in Teaching programs, both elementary and secondary.
MAT – Elementary Program Coordinator Dr. Kim Rotruck and MAT – Secondary Program Coordinator Dr. William Childs will be at the FSU Hagerstown Center, on Public Square in Hagerstown, on Wednesday, Sept. 29, at 6:30 p.m. to speak to prospective applicants for the group beginning studies in summer 2005.
A second meeting for those interested in the elementary program will be held Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 6:30 p.m., also in the FSU Hagerstown Center.
The Master of Arts in Teaching – Elementary is offered at FSU's Hagerstown Center. The deadline for Summer 2005 cohort applications is May 1, 2005. The summer 2005 applicant fall admissions interviews will be scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, Nov. 23, at the Hagerstown Center.
The Master of Arts in Teaching – Secondary program is offered at FSU's Frostburg campus. The deadline for summer 2005 cohort applications is April 1, 2005.
FSU’s Master of Arts in Teaching program is designed for career changers or recent college graduates who want to pursue a career in teaching. The full-time program that lasts just over a year provides its students with all the necessary coursework and classroom experience to obtain teacher certification in the State of Maryland.
